Usually we use Microsoft Excel for the preparation of quantity surveys and estimates. However, we also proficiently use the Quest Residential Estimator, and Plan Swift. You may also send us your Excel spreadsheets having your cost codes along with the material codes. We will insert the quantities that we will estimate in to your spreadsheets. Then you may send the same list to your vendor for the purpose of pricing. You may then import the sheet in to your estimating software system for budgets.
We provide the list in UniFormat or CSI MasterFormat. It may also depend on how you have phased your work i.e. “Footer Steel” will have all the materials that will be required for the said phase of construction. Or if you need a customized estimate, we will gladly do that for you too.
